FAQ

How do I become a member of the Flagstaff Archers?

How to join/renew:

2. New memberships can be purchased at Bull Basin Archery in Flagstaff. NOTE: Dues can only be paid with a credit/debit card.

3. Renewing members with an active membership access card can renew online by filling out an electronic application and paying the renewal fee on the Membership page on this website.

What are the benefits of membership in Flagstaff Archers?

Primarily, Flagstaff Archers maintains a range for their members. In addition, throughout the year, we host various “members only” events. These may include “Range Day”, a summer evening league, a night time “Coon Shoot” and a “Turkey Shoot”. Membership puts you in contact with like minded individuals. Fellow club members are a great source of information and assistance for both hunting and non-hunting archers. Your membership supports archery in our community and wildlife conservation in our state.

Can I bring a guest to the range?

A non-shooting guest may be brought to the range to see if they would like to join. Due to abuse of the previous guest system, we had to change our policy. We regret any inconvenience. You must be a current member with a gate key to shoot at the range. Note: A day pass is available for purchase ($15 per person, per day) at the Coconino County Fairgrounds office.

I joined in the middle of the year, why am I asked to renew in January?

Renewals now can be processed at anytime throughout the year. Your membership will be active for one full year from the month you renewed / joined for 12 full months and then your access card will be deactivated until you renew again.

Where can I sight-in my broadheads?

Due to the liability issues and regulations by the Coconino County Parks Board, broadheads are not allowed at the range, even in your quiver. You may practice with broadheads using your own target in a safe location outside of Flagstaff City Limits, on USFS land.

What if I did not receive a gate card, or if my card isn’t working?

If you did not receive a gate card, or you’re having problems with your current card, please  email flagarchers@gmail.com for help.

Do I need my own equipment and does Flagstaff Archers provide lessons?

Yes, you do need your own equipment.  Flagstaff Archers does not provide scheduled lessons.  The Coconino County Parks and Recreation Department has a “Learn to Shoot Archery” program that runs in the summer months.
