Range Rules
- All guests must purchase a day use pass before using the range.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Broadheads and practice broadheads are prohibited on the archery range.
- Crossbows are not allowed on the archery range.
- Alcohol is prohibited on the archery range.
- No discharge of firearms.
- No hunting at Fort Tuthill County Park.
- Pets are required to be leashed.
- Stay on designated trails.
- Pack out all trash, including broken arrows.
- Close all gates when entering and leaving the range.
Range Safety and Courtesy
- Inspect your equipment before using the range.
- Be sure of your target and what is in front of it, immediately behind it, and beyond it.
- Arrows should remain in a quiver until you are ready to shoot.
- Only nock an arrow when it is safe to do so and keep arrows pointed down range.
- Never nock an arrow or shoot while someone is downrange.
- Shoot only from designated shooting stakes. Never shoot across shooting lanes or target stations.
- Stand on the same shooting line as other archers, not in front of or behind them.
- Shoot as many arrows as those around you to minimize wait times between shooting and retrieving.
- Once you’ve shot all your arrows, step back from the shooting line, and wait.
- Stay behind the shooting line until shooting by all archers has stopped and the last person shooting has yelled out “CLEAR.”
Membership Rules and Reminders
- A membership pass may not be shared unless a family pass has been purchased.
- The family pass includes two adults and children under 18 within the same household.
- Members may be asked to produce their membership pass and verify membership by range officials.
